The Green Chair Project (TGCP) is an eco-minded multi-faceted organization that is dedicated to enhancing Seattle’s artist community through supplying the tools needed to be successful in ones craft, while simultaneously encouraging environmental responsibility. The organization supports artists through each step of their creative process, from their initial ideas through fruition, by providing the following four key elements: a facility to create, raw materials and supplies, skill enhancing workshops, and a retail outlet. TGCP also provides an essential ecological service by salvaging waste materials from local manufacturers and offering them for reuse at discount prices.
